Holy Spirit,
You who inspire and bring to fulfilment,
bless the Aquatic Healing sessions that I am privileged to facilitate.
Make them a humble instrument of God’s grace
in the world,
in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
May everything that happens in an A.H. session
be sustained and guided by Your holy working alone,
in union with the holy angels and saints who faithfully serve You.
Protect us from all deception
and from the hidden influences of evil,
from fallen angels and servants of evil,
who seek to turn souls away from Your truth and life.
In Your almighty Goodness, Truth and Beauty
we find our absolute safety and peace.
Make the A.H. sessions a place of openness to Your Spirit,
a path to deeper conversion and surrender to God.
For those who are baptised:
let this be a renewal of the grace of their baptism,
a strengthening of their faith
and a revitalisation of their life in Christ.
For those who have not yet been baptised:
awaken in them a desire for Holy Baptism
and lead them, at the right time,
to the ministers of this sacrament,
so that they may receive it worthily.
Your Holy Baptism is a unique and indelible sacrament
performed by Christ Himself
and cannot be repeated or replaced by any other practice.
And should a true emergency arise,
grant the right intention, wisdom and purity of heart
to act in accordance with the will of the Church
as described in Article 1284 of the Catechism.
Holy Spirit, guide us,
purify us,
and fill us with Your life,
to the glory of the Father and the Son,
now and for ever.
